According to Land Title Guarantee Company: September boasted the most number of transactions of any given month so far in 2019, with 204 real estate transactions. The total dollar volume for September was $222M, which equates to an average price of $1.2M. The total number of transactions year to date are 6% higher than 2018 and 11% higher in total dollar volume, bringing the year to date volume total to $1,594,253,429.
In addition to Eagle and Gypsum; Beaver Creek, Eagle Vail, Avon and East Vail all had 12 or more sales in September. Beaver Creek’s 18 September sales totaled more than $24M in dollar volume and accounts for 20% of the entire year’s transactions (91). Beaver Creek is averaging $1.5M per sale through September.
Year to date, 32% of all residential homes have sold at more than $1M; 629 of all homes were multi family and 567 were single family. The highest priced single family home in September sold in Vail for $17M.
Commercial sales continue to move with 101 transactions through September, totaling more than $105M.
