October was the best real estate month of the year with $261,614,041 in total dollar volume over 230 transactions. Both are the most in any given month this year. The high volume October brings us within 1% of 2018 volume and surpasses 2018 transactions, year to date.

Mid Valley sales continue to remain strong with Avon having 19 transactions, Eagle Vail with 17 and Beaver Creek at 14 sales. The median sales price for Avon in October was $405,000 while Eagle Vail’s median price was $735,000 and Beaver Creek was $1.5M. Avon and Eagle Vail have some of the highest appreciation values in Eagle County for multifamily homes with 18% and 11% increases over 2018. Commercial real estate sales through October were slower than the last 2 years, but have still produced more than $125M in dollar volume over 118 transactions.

The highest sale in October was sold in Lake Creek for $8.5M, and the highest price per square foot was a Solaris unit which sold for $2,523/square foot.
